COMMENTARY FROM A DEPLORABLE

A HEAVY DOSE OF TRUTH

It's time for the truth. Not your truth or my truth or someone else's truth. Just THE truth.

9. Values

Wokeness run amok: Recently, March 2021, the boys (age 13-14) at Brauer College Warrnambool in Victoria, Australia were forced to stand up during assembly and apologize to the girls for being boys. Proof the insanity of the looney left has travelled around the world. Boys will be boys? Not in Australia.

Jim Clyburn, congressman from SC, is not a communist. He’s a racist and an opportunist. In the old time civil rights era, Clyburn took advantage of Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty and The Great Society to further his own personal opportunity. What about today? Nothing has changed. He is only interested in feeding on opportunity. After the death of George Floyd, he fueled the flames of racism.

Clyburn said, “We’ve got a tremendous opportunity to restructure”, he said. “The current structure was built on black folks being enslaved and white folks being free, and we’ve got to restructure.” It’s a lie. He knows it’s a lie. Black America, Jim Clyburn is not your friend. He is willing to keep you down to raise himself up.

April 15, 2021: Biden’s UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the Human Rights Council that “the original sin of slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents,” You don’t have to hate on America Linda. There are 190+ countries in the world that will do it for you. If America is as bad as you claim, why are you representing us. Pick another better country and go live there. Bless your heart.

Prior to Johnson’s Great Society, 75% of black households were two-parent households. Today, that number is 25%. The Great Society decided it was a good idea to pay black mom’s more if dad wasn’t home. How’s that working out? We wouldn't want any of that toxic masculinity to rub off on the kids. In addition, two-parent households equals two incomes for the family. Do you think that might have something to do with the problem? You probably didn’t realize that the War on Poverty was supposed to be lost. More food stamps anyone?

The United State was founded on Christian values. There are those who choose not to believe that. Let’s look at just two illustrations to prove the point.

  1. The Treaty of Paris, 1783 that officially ended the American Revolution is titled “In the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity”. Sounds Christian to me.

  2. Congress authorized the first printing of the English bible by Robert Aitkin in 1782. The front page says “for use in schools”. Maybe separation of church and state means something else.

In their wisdom, the founding fathers and the first legislators wanted America to be a Christian nation. The idea was that you could practice any religion you wanted, but America was founded on Christian values and those values should be taught in schools, notwithstanding later Supreme Court rulings. The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are all based on those Christian values. No matter how much the left tries to ignore it, that is a historical fact.

Change the values and you change the America the founding fathers fought for. America is the freest, least racist country in the world today but there are forces who would “restructure” America. Hey, black America. Do you want to follow some rap artist thug with gold teeth or do you want to follow the teachings of Martin Luther King? Hey, white America, do you want to follow the boogaloo boys or the teachings of Martin Luther King? When King dreamed of a world that would judge you by the content of your character and not the color of your skin he was affirming the words of the Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal (Yes, that includes you too ladies. We are talking about genus Homo here. Don’t get hung up.) and we have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The US Constitution is the only one in the world that gives you the right, through the second amendment, to fight for those rights.

The beauty of the human mind is this. At any time, in a flash, you can have a “come to Jesus moment” and change your values from bitter victimhood to better values; to get on MLK’s moral arc and take the ride to victory of freedom over tyranny. You are only as oppressed as you think you are.
